Even before Doctor's release in theaters, MovieCrow had reported that the Sivakarthikeyan starrer will make its post-release premiere on Sun TV for Diwali (November 4, 2021). Now it is being said that Doctor will most likely air at 6: 30 PM on the Tamil channel on the said date.

Additionally the OTT premiere on Doctor is said to happen the next day i.e. November 5, 2021 on the Sun Nxt platform. The movie much later is also expected to be available on MX Player and Jio Cinema channels. 

Overseas, the digital premiere of Doctor and its Telugu version Varun Doctor is said to happen on Simply South TV and Tentkotta OTT channels.
