Composer Sai Abhyankkar has shared two updates on social media — the final master copy of Karuppu's original soundtrack is complete and set for release, and he has teased what fans can expect from his upcoming collaboration with Suriya on S48.

Responding to a fan's excitement about their next project, Abhyankkar wrote, "More different genres and exciting voices" — a brief but promising hint at the musical direction of Suriya 48, directed by TJ Gnanavel.

Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji, had delivered chartbusters like Raathu Raasan and Karuppa Kooda Vaa alongside its theatrical release earlier this year. The film was a critical and commercial hit. Suriya 48, backed by Hombale Films and also starring Kayadu Lohar, reunites Suriya with Gnanavel after their acclaimed collaboration on Jai Bhim.
