Director R Raghav Midharth's next film has been announced as Drones, starring Siddhi Idnani and Anjali Nair in the lead. The announcement poster features a drone against a nebulous background, hinting at science fiction elements with space playing a central role in the narrative.

Produced by GM Morgan under his GM Morgan Films banner, the film also stars Dravid Selvam, Devadarshini, Kuraishi and others. Hari SR composes the music, with Jayanth Sethu Mathavan on cinematography and Sathish Suriya editing.

Raghav Midharth previously directed Bun Butter Jam, starring Raju Jeyamohan and Bhavya Trikha.
