Nooru Saami, Vijay Antony and Swasika's emotional family drama, is heading to ZEE5 on August 7 — nearly 45 days after its theatrical release on June 19. The film opened to largely positive reviews and has earned Rs 12 crore worldwide at the box office.

Directed by Sasi, the film marks his reunion with Vijay Antony ten years after Pichaikkaran — with the title itself taken from the iconic song of that film. Based on a true incident, Nooru Saami revolves around the bond between a mother and her son. The cast includes Lijomol Jose, Vijay Antony's nephew Ajay Dhishan, Sakthi and Kavya Anil. Balaji Sriram composes the music and the film is produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation.
