Karthik Subbaraj has officially announced that his 10th film is titled Dorothy. The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before opening in theatres on September 25.

Sharing the announcement on social media, Karthik wrote, "A story that is very very close to my heart and a film I wanted to make since many years is finally made. And that too with music by the maestro Ilaiyaraaja sir."

Dorothy stars Keerthy Suresh, Sananth and Rishikanth, with Ilaiyaraaja composing the music. The film is produced by Karthik Subbaraj under his Dhammam Films banner alongside Guneet Monga and Aachin Jain of Sikhya Entertainment and Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios. The technical crew includes cinematographer S Thirunavukkarrasu, editor Ganesh Siva and stunt choreographer Dinesh Subbarayan.
