Suriya delivered a heartfelt and thoughtful address on love and respect at the Vishwanath & Sons audio launch, offering his personal perspective ahead of the film's August 14 release.

"I think love should be everlasting. It is not something that should be felt when you tie the knot, but you should love every single day. Even if you spend 20 years with someone, you should keep on loving your partner. You should always be respectful," he said.

Acknowledging that people change over time, he added, "Your priorities are different at the age of 20, 25 or 30. Your thinking might change, your life can take any direction. But the love and affection you have for your partner should never change."

Suriya also spoke passionately about the sacrifices women make. "The miles that a woman has to brave to reach a place is far greater than what a man has to cross. A lot of compromise is made by women — looking after a house, giving birth. Always show your respect for their sacrifices. Show a lot more respect than love," he said.

Directed by Venky Atluri, Vishwanath & Sons features a May-December romance between a middle-aged sportsman and a younger woman. The film stars Mamitha Baiju, Raveena Tandon, Radikaa Sarathkumar and others, with GV Prakash composing the music.
