Dhruv Vikram's next film, tentatively titled DV4 and helmed by debutant director Karan Arvind Kumar, has now added composer Santhosh Narayanan to its lineup — marking his second collaboration with Dhruv after Mahaan.

Plot details remain under wraps, but the makers have described the film as an out-and-out commercial entertainer. The script comes from Sabari Nath and Karan. While the full cast is yet to be revealed, actors Prithvi Pandiarajan (known for Blue Star and Parasakthi) and Sai Deena have been confirmed as part of the film.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Viki, editor Jayasuriya, costume designer Praveen Raja, production designer GM Sekhar, and stunt choreographer Vikram Mor. Signs point to Dhruv playing another sportsman following Bison Kaalamaadan — he's previously shared glimpses of himself training in kickboxing for a "new sport," along with a look from what appears to be an action sequence, though the makers haven't officially confirmed the genre yet.

Director Karan A Kumar previously assisted on Adithya Varma and Sorgavaasal, and recently wrote for RJ Balaji-Suriya's Karuppu. DV4 marks Mythri Movie Makers' fourth Tamil production after Good Bad Ugly, Dude, and Modha Rathiri, produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under their banner.
