Previously we had reported about Annaatthe shooting planning to resume from February or March and latest update on this front is that March 15, 2021 is when the filming will begin again. EVP Film city, a hot location for several Kollywood productions is where Annaatthe makers have erected huge sets and after Chennai, the team will be shooting around Coimbatore and Pollachi.

Directed by Siva, Annaatthe is touted to be a family entertainer starring Rajinikanth, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena and Khushbu among others. The film produced by Sun Pictures has Imman for music and is scheduled to release on Novemeber 4, 2021.
