SK 25 (tentative title) is actor Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming movie with director Sudha Kongara, which is a revival of 1965 Puranaanooru, a project that was supposed to happen with actors Suriya, Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Fahadh. SK 25 also stars Jayam Ravi, Atharvaa, Sreeleela among others, and MovieCrow has learnt that the shooting of this film will begin in December, 2024. 

A few days ago, SK 25's look test had caused a furore over rumours of a Sivakarthikeyan, Sudha Kongara rift, until film's producer from Dawn Pictures clarified that it was not the case. From the test shoot, looks have been locked for Sivakarthikeyan, Jayam Ravi, and Atharavaa in SK 25, which is touted to be a film based on the 1965 anti-Hindi agitation , and has Sivakarthikeyan playing a revolutionary college student.

SK 25 is also music composer GV Prakash's 100th film.
