Whistle Podu, the first single from Vijay starrer The Greatest of All Time released marking the Tamil New Year occassion on April 14, 2024 [Sunday]. The lyric video went on to amass a record breaking 30 million views within the first 24 hours of release, however fan-reactions to the song on social media were lukewarm. 

The Greatest of All Time written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, and produced by AGS Entertainment is actor Vijay's second last movie before his full-fledged entry into politics, and fan-emotions surrounding each update are heightened than usual as a result.

Despite this, criticisms surrounding the Whistle Podu lyric video, be it about Vijay's costume, about letting Prabhu Deva steal the show, about Madan Karky's lyrics, or about the Yuvan composed song in itself, were expressed by fans across social media platforms in a firm yet light-hearted, and toned-down manner [Fan reactions often gets brutal in the Tamil cine circles, and The Greatest of All Time team was most definitely spared the horror]. 

Yuvan Shankar Raja's Instagram comment section was one of the places where these critical cum sarcastic feedbacks were populated, and now it is being touted as the reason for the music composer to deactivate his Instagram profile [Turning off the comments could have also gotten the job done].

Yuvan Shankar Raja has now updated via his X handle that his Instagram page stands deactivated because of a 'technical error', and that his team is currently working towards retrieving his page.
