Jailer Audio Launch: Full Rajinikanth Speech in English

Star actor Rajinikanth recently made waves with his speech at the audio launch event of his upcoming movie Jailer, which releases in theaters on August 10, 2023. While the Jailer audio launch was expected to be aired on Sunday i.e. July 30, 2023 on Sun TV (as revealed by Rajinikanth himself on stage), there has been no telecast or an official update on the same yet. [Update: Jailer audio launch event will be telecast on Sun TV on August 6, 2023 at 6 PM]

Meanwhile fans who were present in person at the Jailer audio launch, have started floating personally shot videos of Rajinikanth's entire speech from the event. A full transcript of the same in English follows. It is worth mentioning here that several parts of the speech are unlike what has been projected by vested interests on social media, in the last three evenings.

Actor Vijay's name has been mentioned exactly only once by Rajinikanth in his 1-hour long speech (which he delievered standing with just quick second water break), and that too in the context that he has acted in Beast - the 2022 movie produced by Jailer producers Sun Pictures, and directed by Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar.

Full Transcript of Rajinikanth's Speech From Jailer Audio Launch Event

"[hoots and whistles] Honourable Sun Pictures owner Dhayanidhi Maran..sorry..Kalanithi Maran..[hoots and whistles]..After a long time my elder brother, (who is also like) my father, my mother, God, everything to me, my living God Sathyanarayanan Rao Gaikwad has come to this event. That is a very joyous thing for me. Sorry, first I addressed Kala Sir as Dhayanidhi Maran. Because whatever he spoke hasn't gotten out from my head to toe [Kalanithi Maran's speech excerpts].  I bow my head to his kindness and affection.

Among the guests who've come here - Jackie Shroff is my very close friend. I've worked with him in Uttar Dakshin (1987). I will talk about him more later. Then Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, all other artists, friends in the media, Nelson Sir [hoots and whistles because Rajini addressed Nelson as Sir and Nelson with a big laugh reciprocated with a hand-fold gesture], Anirudh - if I have to keep naming them all then it will never end. So to everyone who are here, and to those Tamil people worldwide who will be watching this show on the 30th on Sun TV, and to these fans who are the Gods that make me live - My affectionate hello. We are meeting now after 3 years. In between after COVID had come, we couldn't meet or keep an audio function for Annaatthe (2021). It has almost been 2 years since and I'm extremely happy about meeting you all now in this Jailer audio launch event.

The reason for starting Jailer after such a long gap after Annaatthe is because, I couldn't get a right subject or director. When you take cinema, if the producer is a father, then director is the mother. Captain of the ship is the director. The fate of a film lies with the director. It's only because of the director an artist or a technician gets a name. When you take (late) Sivaji (Ganesan) sir, if it hadn't been for directors like an A. Bhimsingh, an AP Nagarajan, a P Madhavan, or an AC Tirulokchandar - it is doubtful if  Sivaji Sir would have gotten the title of Nadigar Thilagam. Similarly with (late) MGR sir - he's of a different league. Because he himself was a director. In my career, as I've said previously - from a point in time it is directors who've been uplifting my career. If I've lasted 48 years in the cinema industry, the reason behind the same is directors. From Muthuraman Sir, to Mahendran who gave me a totally different film, to Rajasekhar who showed me in a different light, then Suresh Krishnan who completely changed my native and dimension, then (P) Vasu, then KS Ravikumar, then Shankar, then (Pa) Ranjith, then Karthik Subbaraj, and now Nelson (Dilipkumar)..

After Annaatthe, I listened to a lot of stories from young directors. Some of them were like Baasha (1995) or Annamalai (1992) or something that i'd done (in the past). Others were overtly grand, So i had doubts about with what guarantee do i do (the film). Some others tell a (one) line which when asked to develop (into a script), turns out completely different. When people come to narrate a story, they come with high hopes after telling their colleagues and friends. At that point, If I tell no it becomes a huge disappointment. So I felt very bad and left a gap deciding to not hear any more stories. At that time Kannan Sir from Sun Pictures phoned me and said that 'Nelson has a good subject for you'. They [Kannan and Nelson] are good friends. So they talk informally. Kannan said 'Nelson told me a line. Would you listen to it once'. I have seen Nelson's Kolamaavu Kokila (2018), Doctor (2021) which was excellent and now (then) he was doing Beast (2022) with Vijay. So I decided to listen to the narration. But he (Kannan) said they were shooting for Beast in North India which will take 20 days. So he (Nelson) will tell the line after returning. So i said ok and waited. 20 days passed by. He (Nelson) didn't come even after returning. (Kannan said) Nelson is asking for 10 (more) days time. After 10 days on a Monday I had asked them to come at 10 AM. Kannan said Nelson is a late sleeper so he might be late. I thought to myself 'What is this in the beginning itself' and asked 'So what time will he come'. Kannan said 11 or 11: 30 might be easier. Nelson came at noon. I asked him if he would like to have anything, Nelson replied, "Please arrange for (/I could do with) a good coffee."

Be it Mohanlal or Shivarajkumar or Jackie Shroff, the artists were there but we hadn't fixed the characters. But main was the villain character (of Jailer). That is the utmost important character. The villain character was suitable for either a big star or a new face. A repeat casting wouldn't have been good. North Indian's artists wouldn't have fit either since the villain guy was local. So they themselves suggested a name - A very big South star, an excellent artist and a very good friend of mine (rumour has it, it was Kamal Haasan, although Nelson Dilipkumar's lip movement caught on-screen says it was Malayalam star Mammootty).  They asked me how it would be if he did it and I said it would be superb, excellent. They (Sun Pictures) said it wouldn't look nice if they approached him for a villain character so they asked me to do it considering he's a good friend of mine. They said they'd follow up after that. I thought 'what's wrong with asking' since the character definitely would be good if he did it. I phoned him and said 'there is a villain character, an anti- role which i feel would suit if you did it. You can see but if it's a no, no formalities, its no problem at all'. He said 'Rajini if you ask me to do, i'll do. you send the director. I'll listen to the story'. I was so happy. From Kala Sir to Nelson, everyone was surprised that he accepted (to listen to the story). There was 5-7 days gap inbetween. After 2-3 days i started thinking 'If he's in the film, we might have to compromise a lot. I might not be able to beat him or show other things needed. It was an uneasy feeling. So I decided to meet with Nelson. But he came with the exact same thoughts as mine. After much consideration, he showed me Vinayakan in that (villain) getup. I cannot talk about him or his character because Nelson has told me strictly not to talk about certain things [Nelson heartily laughs gesturing its not like that to Rajini]. You people see the film, see that Vinayakan. I then told my friend about the situation. He was ok. I thanked him.

After all this, because I was listening to a lot of new directors at that time, and they had high hopes (of collaboration), I kept getting a lot of calls (for story narration). So if I tell them I've committed to a film, they'll go about their other business right? So for that I called Kannan and said we should announce the movie, since everything was set. We didn't want to announce just like that. So we planned a short video with Nelson and Anirudh which you all saw first (at the beginning). It was announced as my 169th film, with all of us wearing black and me rotating my coolers. After announcement, Beast movie released. They had told shooting (for Jailer) will start 20 days after Beast release. After Beast released, it didn't get good reviews. Opinions differed. Opinions came out that the movie was okay-ish. I have some cinema friends, some distributors, some exhibitor-friends who said 'Sir you re-think your decision. Beast reports are not that good. Do you have to put Nelson as a director?'. The calls were relentless. I was confused. Because at any time a director, a good director never fails. The subject that the director takes may fail. If a subject doesn't have a proper casting that might fail. But the director never fails.  Now he (Nelson) has done just 3 films. We have announced his next film. If I did anything (as they suggested), what will happen to his future. But I was not the decision-maker in this scenario. (it was) producers. They should only take a call. So I called Sembian and Kannan (from Sun Pictures) for a meeting. They too came. I asked them what they have decided since they are the producers. They said 'Kala Sir told us that you've been asking about this...He said Sir will ask about this so you people tell him the truth'. They said 'Sir it true that the reports are so-so, reviews are also so-so but the distributors who bought the film have seen good profit. Exhibitors have seen good profit. We (the producers) have also seen good profit. Even if the opinions have differed, the collection is good. There is no objection in Nelson doing the film.' I said super, shook their hands and got ready for shooting.

So shooting started..Ramya ji was there..We completed first shot. After the first shot, he (Nelson) came and sat next to me. I thought he was going to discuss something about the script. He said 'Sir talk about your love sir'. [Nelson heartily laughs at this revealition]. I asked 'What? about love?'. He asked, 'What all heroines you have loved. What all heroines have loved you?'. I went [with a shocked face] 'what is this?'. He said, 'I need to hear it straight from your mouth'. [Camera pans to Latha Rajinikanth. She is very amused]. He prodded 'story is all set sir, its all fixed now. We should raise our charges a bit'. For him to raise his charge, he was expecting me to tell my love tales [crowd erupts into laughter at this point including Latha Rajinikanth, Kalanithi Maran and his family]. I told him 'you worked with Kamal Haasan in Bigg Boss right? Did you ask him (the same question)'. He said yes. I asked him if Kamal revealed his love tales. Nelson said Kamal said everything. [He knew] I couldn't have called Kamal and verified all this. [Nelson and everyone else again burst into laughter]. Nelson talks jolly like this. But in his director mode, he's like a Hitler. He needs what he needs. He knows exactly what he needs and is very particular about it. There are no compromises

Our Yogi Babu - with him we were sitting and shooting in a car. About his expression, Nelson said it was over one time. He asked Yogi to reduce it a bit. Then said it was too mellow and asked him to do something in between. Then didn't like it at all and asked Yogi to do the first expression again. Yogi Babu said yes to everything. Shot was okayed. (after that Yogi Babu tells me) 'He is killing me Sir' [Yogi Babu and Nelson both laugh at this]. Before telling me Yogi Babu had it confirmed that there were no mics. Yogi Babu continued 'How can i measure my expressions with scale. Oh My God he is a big pain Sir'. Nelson's voice comes at this point 'What? Am I killing you? I can read everything from your lips'. I act with Ramya Krishnan after 24 years in this film. I have to give an expression to Ramya Krishnan who is sitting in front of me and then give one to my daughter-in-law in the movie. It went on for 8 takes. Nelson did the same less, more with me. In front of Neelambari, this Padayappa lost his entire dignity. [Ramya Krishnan heartily laughs at this]. Nelson doesn't care about all this. He takes what he needs.

And then Nelson's comedy sense. They say its black comedy which is all new to me. I cannot fathom such comedy at all. He selects artists also who only when they do exactly like he says, comedy comes out...He goes 15-20 takes with them. He doesn't get angry also. In serious scenes he inserts comedy. I asked him 'What is this nelson sir, how can we keep comedy in such serious scenes?' He said 'Sir if a movie has to have repeat audience, then it has to have either comedy or love..there is no chance for love with you. [Nelson once again laughs heartily]. So comedy'.

Step by step the film developed with Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shivarajkumar. The budget of the film kept increasing. But with Kalanithi Maran - Kannan, Sembian (from Sun Pictures) are his friends. He has such people. If you want to recognize a boss' talent, power, you should look at the people he keeps (for work/beside him). There are 30-40 CCTV cameras to monitor the work that goes on. Whatever is done here goes there (points to Kalanithi Maran). If a film is turning out well, he doesn't hesitate to invest money in it. If something isn't coming out well, they stop immediately and say that's enough. They never worry about increasing budgets. They have planned this film that well. Kalanithi Maran - After he spoke I got a little emotional. I have spoken about this already but Kala Sir is content with what he has done so far. Otherwise with his talent, dedication, hard work and genius he could have become like Mukesh Ambani. [Kalanithi Maran lifts his folded hands at this]. If someone says 10'o clock, he'll be there at 10 sharp...He works like that..The only thing I tell Kala Sir is to include some good players next (time) in Sunrisers Hyderabad. IPL is going good. When Sunrisers play, it is difficult to see Kavya (Maran)'s (gloomy) expressions. [Kavya Maran is on the floor laughing at this].

Jailer came to its finishing stage. Just one song was in balance. Which was that Kaavaalaa song. They couldn't get Tamannaah's dates for it. There was a date but they couldn't fix it because our Ani (rudh) was completely in foreign (countries) for his concert. So they asked for this song alone from him, got it and put up a set. They told me it will take 20 days before they begin the 6 days of balance shooting. So I waited. Actually I had Lal Salaam to begin shooting. But because my beard is white  (in Lal Salaam), I waited to complete Jailer shooting first. Kaavaalaa shooting date comes. They didn't call me first day, second day, 3 days have passed by and I wasn't called at all. I asked Kannan (from Sun Pictures). But Nelson told through Kannan to me 'Ji look at the frame (implying Tamannaah is in it) [Tamannaah shyly laughs at this]. You  are there throughout in the film. So wait.' 6th day comes. Last day. They said I had shooting. But said it was enough if i came post afternoon. I went in the afternoon. They asked me to eat and wait. At 5 o' clock they said a break will come in an hour, so I was asked to put makeup after that. I was called in only at 7: 30. It was packed inside. I spotted Jani Master. I was ready in the beginning itself with a lot of rehearsals because they had built it up to me that there was this song, the only song in the movie. In the last minute, they called me and made me do only one move. I didn't even speak properly with Tamannaah. [Jani Master and Tamannah break into laughter at this]. In the same set, I was moved aside and asked to do another step. Tamannaah was not in it. [Tamannaah continues to laugh at this]. After that they took two stills and said it was over..Remember how they said in the (Kaavaalaa) promo that Tamannaah was Nelson's favourite? I can confirm that with this. [Tamannaah shakes her head and laughs]. But jokes apart, What a song - Jani Master, Ani(rudh). They did a promo for a promo for the first time in this world [joke. Nelson and Anirudh do this for all movies of theirs]. Kala Sir said it correctly. If Ani(rudh) and Nelson are doing a movie together, it sells in all areas the day they inagurate it with a pooja. In the opening itself, all the money will come

After this Ani(rudh) came back from foreign (trip). I was doing my dubbing work. Ani(rudh) came to me and said 'Sir there is this mention of the word Hukum in two places in the movie. So I have thought of doing a song with that word. It's a song for your fans. We have to cheer your fans up. It has been 2 years. This is a song for your fans. So I spoke with Nelson and we set the Hukum song at one place. They send me the lyrics for the Hukum song. I see it and felt it was a complete banger. Fans have also said the same. I said all this is okay but the lyrics have Superstar in it. Please remove all that. Its not required, Why do we need all that now. Because whenever it is there (doesn't complete the sentence). He said 'no no we are doing it for your fans'.

You see with (the title) Superstar, even in 1977 when (producer) Thanu in his first picture termed me a Superstar, I went to him and said 'Sir that is not required. Please it is not required.' When I said that, some people said 'Rajini got scared. He is shivering with cowardice. He is too sacred and said a big no to the title Superstar'. I am scared of only two people. One is God. That big entity. Without that there is nothing. Next is good people. Because we shouldn't break good people's hearts. We shouldn't distress good people. We shouldn't trouble good people. Because good people's curse comes to fruition. And it follows our lives throughout. So I'm scared of only these two, nothing else. The reason why I said this is in 1977 when Sivaji Sir was still acting as a hero, Kamal Haasan was at the top of his game, if I go declaring myself as a Superstar, what will they think. This was my respect for them. Dignity. I said no for that. At that time, there was a lot of opposition, hatred. Things that are there for everyone in everything. But the opposition, hatred I faced was like a Tsunami. These 20 (2K) kids wouldn't know. Because there weren't these many media outlets or social media back then. So not many people knew from the outside. A fire came from that hatred and opposition. This Rajinikanth is a plant that grew from that fire. [The entire stadium including producer Kalanithi Maran clap for this]. The ones who saved and protected that plant were God, my hard-work and the fans whom I earned because of it. They served as an iron fort for me in my worst storms. When I was simply doing stuff with every slate, I got movies like Aarilirunthu Arubathu Varai (1979), Mullum Malarum (1978), Bhuvana Oru Kelvi Kuri (1977) because of that fire. That fire has still not subsided. Its still burning ember

I'll tell one thing. This is not just for me. All this hatred and opposition - everyone faces it everywhere. While studying it is there - in school, colleges, in offices it is there, it is there in each and every place. What should we do for that? In animals, a monkey is the most naughty. Similarly in birds, it is the crow. It is extremely mischievous. The eagle flies above. It rarely comes beneath. This crow on the other hand keeps poking at the doves, the sparrows, for no good reason. But it can only see the eagle. Because even if the crow keeps flapping it wings, it cannot reach far till the eagle. But the eagle without flapping its wings much keeps floating mid-air. So the crow is jealous. The crow then tries to poke the eagle. The eagle doesn't do anything. It flies even above. The crow wouldn't leave. It keeps poking. The eagle goes even higher. The crow also goes. But after a point it cannot. It gets tired and comes back down. So if someone clashes with us, we should respond with the best language that is silence. We should exercise that and keep going on with our business

Now just because I have said the crow and the eagle, our media especially our social media will go 'so and so has been called a crow. so and so has been called an eagle'. Please don't do all that. I have only spoken about what happens everywhere. This is not about anyone in particular. [The Maran family claps at this]. Even if I say all this, they won't leave. There isn't a dog that doesn't bark, there isn't a mouth that doesn't complain, in conclusion there isn't a place that doesn't have these two. Is Tamil Nadu an exception to this? No. We should mind our own work and keep going. Do you understand raja? [English translation of a Telugu dialogue from Jailer] [The crowd goes wild at this].

Even till 10 years ago, Tamil film industry was next to Hindi. When it came to South it was the Tamil film industry. But now the times have changed. Nobody even knew about the existence of the Kannada film industry. Now everyone in India knows about the Kannada industry. With KGF (2018, 2022), Kantara (2022), they have reached somewhere else. For Telugu - Baahubali (2015, 2017), RRR (2022), Pushpa (2021) is making everyone talk. It is also reaching somewhere else. So in Tamil all heroes movies should run. All big movies should run. Only if everyone's movies run especially only of big heroes' movies run, theater people can earn good money. Only then a theater gets crowd. They are not screening small films because of the high rates. And somehow the film comes on OTT. So don't see which hero's movie it is. See all good and big movies. We are all united only here. You people are only fighting. So you should see all films, the industry should thrive, you people all should stay united. For the industry, we should all stay united. Everyone are brothers here. We need not have any jealousies or internal conflicts amongst us. We are our own competition. For every film, it is its own competition

As for this film, everyone who has acted in it, among it is Jackie Shroff. When he got married (in 1987), there were only 20 people at his marriage. Among the 20 people were myself and Latha (Rajinikanth's wife). He is that much of a best friend to me. He is the child of the Indian film industry. He is an affectionate child to everyone. Mohanlal - I have seen him and met him here and there. But only after I got to know him I realized - what a versatile person. What a gentleman. The way he cooks, sings, does magic, his business - My God! Shivarajkumar - You should go and see there (in Karnataka), He is Rajkumar (famous Kannada star)'s son. Son of a very big man is no easy feat. It is very difficult to retain that name. But look how he is maintaining his father's name (legacy). If you go and see in Karnataka, just like how people were ready to give their lives for his father, people are ready to do the same for Shivarajkumar. His younger brother Puneeth Rajkumar died unexpectedly, the way he handled it - hats off Shivarajkumar. Hats off. Similarly Sunil (Telugu actor)Ramya Krishnan did not have free dates at all. She accepted only because of this movie. Similarly Tamannaah - if she has danced that much, its because of her character. You people when you see will notice the guts in her character. And she's a very spiritually inclined person. Very spiritual she is.  I gave her a book titled Living With the Himalayalam Masters (Tamannaah had previously revealed that the spitirual book was personally autographed by Rajinikanth). But Nelson did give me a chance only to speak to her. [Tamannaah once again laughs]. Vasanth Ravi - He does movies as a hero/with big heroes. Even if its a small role in Jailer, he accepted to do it. Sorry I cannot cover everyone because of time. Our Vijay (Karthik Kannan)'s camera.

At this point Ramya Krishnan asks Rajini if she could come on stage and he obliges not knowing what is to come. She gets on stage, touched his feet and says, "If I don't say this on this stage, there my life will not be fulfilled. Whatever stage I've taken in the last 24 years, I have not been without saying this dialogue. I have to say this in front of you today. So I'll say it. [English translation of an improvised Padayappa (1999) dialogue follows] Even if you've aged, your style and handsomeness, your swag and power hasn't gone from you. I will also say your dialogue. thank you thank you thank you. That trait is acquired by birth. It will remain with me at any day. It will remain with me alone. It will remain with you only sir. I couldn't finish this stage without saying that." [Says thank you, and gets off stage].

Am I taking too long?[The crowd chants no]. There are so many incidents in my life. KB [K. Balachander] Sir spoke about this at the Padayappa function that my life, my history can be made into a film as an autobiography.,,Because my elder brother is here, I am reminded of some of those incidents. How did it come to my mind that I should become an artist. Everyone has this. Some people know what they want to become in life, so they plan accordingly and go and achieve that. For some people, life accidentally changes completely. It was like that for me too. I used to watch a lot of films but I never even dreamed of becoming an actor. I knew my limitations. I was 85 KGs back then. I had a belly 4-inch to the front. I was dark-skinned, and my hair - How could I think of becoming an actor?. Back then cinema industry meant Madras. There wasn't one in/ Bangalore. But i used to watch a lot of films, did a lot of imitations. Whoever I saw, I used to imitate..So my friends would always want me to do it. Among my friends was Rajabahadur who was  a driver. He was a rich kid. He had 50-60 cows and goats. But maintaining them was very difficult. So he learnt driving and became a driver. He was very handsome. He used to dress prim, had watch on his right hand, used to wear a chain. I have never bothered to dress up ever. He wanted to become an actor very bad.

There used to be a lot of drama (shows) where artists put their own money and did shows...They were doing a drama called Kurukshetra and Rajabahadur was doing Bheeshma's character. He took me also along..There was a Jalasandha character in that drama. I was big made back then so they asked me to do it. I said I can't sing. They said there are no songs only dialogues.. Because I was sitting there everyday, I knew the dialogues by heart. When I did every well, Rajabahadhur got surprised. He asked me how did I do so good. I told him 'I am here everyday with nothing else to do. That is why I could do it'. I became part of the drama troupe. Then one day with just 3 days left for the drama, the person who plays the main character Dhruyodhan went down bad with flu. He couldn't even stand and walk. The master there said 'Sivaji Rao you do it'. I knew the dialogues but didn't know any songs. So he said 'there is one song which is very important, that ill sing you give lip moment'. I told him I'll decide tomorrow and tell...Rajbahadhur warned me not to do it but I went next day and said ok...

In 1966, NTR had played the villain Duryodhana character in a movie called Sri Krishna Pandaveeyam. So I was able to imitate him completely and pulled off  my (drama) role surprising everyone. They said super, excellent. Rajabahadur's face was completely down because he played Bheeshma's character. Next day we had dress rehearsals. My character was to come and sit on the throne after they introduced me. I went and told the master 'This seems too ususal. I'll go and stand with my back facing the audience. Then with a small light, I'll give a swaggy turn'. [Crowd hoots for this]. I did the gadha swap from one hand to another [similar to Rajinikanth's trademark bubblegum swap]. Laughed [in trademark villain Chitti laugh] and told my dialogue [in trademark Rajinikanth style]. Everyone started clapping. Rajabahadhur's jaw dropped at this and he told me 'all this is fine but you forget your lines on stage. you shouldn't miss catching the gadha because then everyone will start laughing.' I said ok. Even after the stage was set and all actors were there, he was silently gesturing me to no do stuff.  But I did everything as I had wanted and the audience liked it. Drama got over. Around 60-70 people were waiting in the green room to see who had played Duryodhana.

It was around 11: 30 in the night when Rajabahadur and I called for an auto. It was out area. We are Kings in our own area.  [crowd cheers]. There was a bar there and behind it was Rajabahadhur's house. We were completely drunk and Rajabahadur started crying. He kept saying 'what have you done. How good have you done.' He kept crying and saying 'you are not a (bus) conductor'. He said 'you are a villain like the glamour king (SV) Ramadas'. 'You go to Madras' he said and sent me here. It was around 2 when I reached home...The light was still on. My elder brother was sitting, waiting. I tried turning around. He called me 'Hey Sivaji, come here'. I got scared and walked to him. He hugged me tight. He made my sister-in-law ward off my evils with a big pumpkin. After warding off my evils my elder brother said 'You have a lot of talent, you are doing good, leave your drinking habits alone.'

Friends - I'll say this. If only I had not had that drinking habit, the Rajinikanth now would have been nothing, I would have reached even greater heights. Not just in cinema even in society, I could have done a lot more good. The drinking habit is a self-made curse for me...So please listen to me..do not drink. Please leave out the daily drinking habit. I don't mean leave drinking completely. [The crowd and everyone laughs at this]...Drink but occassionally...You'll find it hard if it [alcohol] isn't there. No difficulties when it is there..Not just health, even are minds are spoilt by it. And if our minds get spoilt, our decision making will be spoilt and (ultimately) our life will get spoilt. It's not just you who is troubled by your drinking habit. It's your father, mother, wife, kids, they also get troubled...We don't have the rights to spoil their life. We don't have right? So my request is for you all to leave that habit. And its not that difficult. With experience I'm telling you..And don't encourage friends who drink. The time you spend on drinking can be spent on eating a full tummy. Eat well and watch a movie. The drinking habit will go way in 10-12 days..So I request you with folded hands to leave the drinking habit behind

This film (Jailer), Nelson has given his life and directed me. Everyone in this film has given their best. We have a lot of expectations with it. It comes out on the 10th. I am confident that you all will watch it and give a good verdict for it. I wish everyone who has worked in this movie. Thank you to everyone. Once again, I took a lot of your time. I apologize for that." [Concludes with a salute].
