The title of actor Suriya's 42nd movie is all set to be revealed on April 16, 2023 [Sunday] at 9:05 AM, and buzz surrounding the movie is currently on an all time high. Previously it was suggested that Suriya 42 has been titled after one of the historical names seen in the film's first teaser video. Then a leaked poster said to be of Suriya 42 indicated Agneeswaran - 'Bearer of Fire' to be the title. It made sense given Suriya's character was surrounded by fire in the first introduction video but was quickly debunked.

However latest buzz is that Suriya 42 title begins with the letter K and has 7 letters in total. Among the historical names that were introduced initially, 'Kaatar' seemed to be common denominator so fans have been taking guesses on whether this could be the title, or part of the title.

On the other hand, there was a new poster release today which once again showed Suriya in an element close to the Tamil King Velpari as depicted in the writer Su. Venkatesan's story. It remains to be seen if the 1000-year old backstory of director Siva's fantasy movie, has anything to do with the historic tribal royalty.
