As previously reported, it has now been officially announced that the trailer of Vijay's upcoming action thriller Beast will be unveiled on Ugadi day i.e. April 2, 2022. Sun Pictures has also announced that the Beast trailer will be unveiled at 6 PM that Saturday and the video is expected to premiere on Sun TV's YouTube channel.

It remains to be seen if the Beast trailer comes with a run-time of 1 minute 22 seconds as reported before. Beast directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is touted to be based on gold smuggling and the movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko among others.

The U/A certified film is scheduled to release in theaters on April 13, 2022 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi (as Raw) and comes with a run-time of 2 hours 35 minutes and 38 seconds.
