Streaming platforms in the Tamil OTT scene has been seeing an increase in numbers, as several market players have been noticed shifting their focus to Kollywood. Besides Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney Plus Hotstar, which were the usual streaming channels to go to for new Tamil film releases, Zee 5 and Sony Liv have started buying movies for direct OTT releases too.

This puts as many as 20+ Tamil movies on the direct OTT release list. In addition to Jagame Thandhiram and Navarasa, the following movies can be expected to be made available for streaming in the near future:
