Popular 90s Tamil director Vikraman, who has films like Poove Unakkaga (1996), Suryavamsam (1997), Priyamana Thozhi (20030 and the National award winning Vaanathaipola (2000) to his credit has made an interesting revealition in his recent interview to 'Vikatan'.
Upon getting asked as to why he has never worked with Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan, the director stated that he missed two big opportunities of working with the stalwarts. Vikraman revealed that when Rajinikanth was looking for a director to begin Baba, Vikraman had the Suriya starrer Unnai Ninaithu in incomplete stage.
Since Rajini wanted someone to begin immediately, Vikraman couldn't take up the offer. The director also revealed that Lakshmi Movie Makers had asked Vikraman to direct Kamal Haasan's Anbe Sivam. For reasons unknown to him, the opportunity later went to Priyadarshan but it was Sundar. C who directed the movie in the end.
