Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor which was initially planned for March 26 release has been postponed to may 14 targeting Ramzan weekend. However, with COVID 2nd wave hitting, there is an uncertainty about locking release date again. With all these aside, the latest we hear is that, the film OTT rights are with leading OTT streaming platform Amazon Prime Video. 

There is no clarity about film being released first in theatres or hitting directly on OTT. 

Doctor directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar , the movie also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan,, Vinay Rai, Yogi Babu, Archana Chandhoke, Ilavarasu, among others and is touted to be an action-thriller with organ trafficking as the subject.
