According to statistics India is a mere 30 days behind getting to Stage 3 status of the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak and this has gotten most of the country under lock-down including our state of Tamil Nadu. Movie theaters in the state have shut down, shootings have been cancelled and release dates postponed until the situation comes under control and while this has gotten people cautious it has also gotten the netizens, especially MEME makers more active than ever.

One of the situations which was made light of recently was the film Maanaadu's shooting which as many know, went through several ups and downs before finally getting into full-fledged shooting at Hyderabad. So when a MEME video mocking lead actor STR and producer Suresh Kamatchi caught the eye of the latter, he quickly came to his hero's rescue and had this to say,

"We have still not been able to get over the crane falling incident and losing our brothers. Will we give space to this Corona? Our #STR is the one who regretted this back up and thought the safety of the workers was more important.

Our Maanaadu will begin again with pride."

Suresh Kamatchi's crane-falling incident refers to the shooting of Indian 2 which has been stalled since the tragic accident last month. The corona outbreak has only further pushed the shooting of that Kamal Haasan-Shankar movie just like all other films worldwide.
