Vaibhav's 30th Film Maaruvesham Gets an Intriguing Title Glimpse

Actor Vaibhav, who most recently featured in Chennai City Gangsters, is gearing up for his next project titled Maaruvesham — a film that also happens to mark the 30th outing of his career. The film is written and directed by Srini.

Director Venkat Prabhu recently unveiled a title glimpse for the film, and it's an intriguing one — the teaser presents doll versions of the film's characters, played by Ramki, Bigg Boss Tamil fame Viyana, Munishkanth, George Maryan, Livingston, Vivek Prasanna, Indhumathi, and others, arranged around a deceased figure inside a sprawling mansion, hinting strongly at a murder mystery setup. The cast also includes George V, Cell Murugan, Mu. Ramasamy, Sebastian, and more.

Towards the end of the glimpse, Vaibhav is shown squaring off against a masked figure who appears to be the film's antagonist. Beyond that, the makers have kept the plot firmly under wraps.

On the technical side, Maaruvesham features music by Rajkumar Amal, cinematography by Balaji K Raja, and editing by Srikanth NB. The film is jointly produced by Vijay Anand and Vaibhav under the banners Oneiromancy Pictures and Monkey Man Company. A release date is yet to be announced.
