Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala has revealed that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Joseph Vijay has expressed full support for Kerala's anti-narcotics campaign, Operation Toofan: The Narco Hunt, and is expected to attend a related event in Kochi alongside Mohanlal. The event date is yet to be officially announced.

Chennithala's disclosure came shortly after his meeting with Vijay in Chennai regarding the campaign. The development signals a likely reunion between Vijay and his Jilla co-star Mohanlal, who has been a core part of the campaign — anchored by the iconic line "Narcotics is a dirty business" from Mohanlal's film Irupatham Noottandu.

Vijay's participation comes naturally given his recent anti-drug initiatives in Tamil Nadu, including flagging off a "Start Run, Stop Drugs" marathon along Marina Beach on International Day Against Drug Abuse, where he urged youngsters to choose sports over substance abuse.
