Kayadu Lohar is reportedly being considered for an important role in Ajith Kumar's much-anticipated AK64, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. While the film is yet to go on floors and official details remain under wraps, pre-production is currently underway with excitement around the project continuing to build.

Separately, reports suggest that Ajith's wife and former actor Shalini may be making her debut as a producer by backing AK64 and possibly overseeing its production, though neither Ajith nor the film's team has officially confirmed this.

Kayadu Lohar, who is on an impressive run across South Indian cinema, has a packed slate including Immortal releasing July 23, Suriya 48 with TJ Gnanavel, Mari Selvaraj's Manjanathi, Dulquer Salmaan's I'm Game and Nani's The Paradise, among others.
