Chennai Box Office: Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal emerges as the topper this weekend

Dulquer Salmaan's long delayed film 'Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal' (KKK) directed by Desingh Periyasamy has won the heart of the audience this week. The film opened to unanimously positive reviews from critics and audience. The film which had a slow start on its opening day picked up momentum from Day 2 due to strong positive word-of-mouth. In Chennai, the film which raked in Rs. 13 lakhs on its opening day has collected Rs. 79 lakhs in 3 days. 

 

Day 1 : Rs. 13 lakhs

Day 2 : Rs. 31 lakhs

Day 3 : Rs. 35 lakhs

 

Total Gross - Rs. 79 lakhs

KKK which got a good opening has also emerged as the Box Office Topper in the city. Controversial film Draupathi starring Richard Rishi in the lead role got the next best opening by raking in Rs. 55 lakhs in 3 days. Ashok Selvan, Rithika Singh, Vani Bhojan starrer romantic comedy 'Oh My Kadavule' (OMK) continues to woo the audience especially in 'A' centres even in its third weekend by minting Rs. 43 lakhs. The film has made a gross collection of Rs. 2.43 cr in 17 days.
