BARC (The Broadcast Audience Research Council) in its latest TRP report on the top movies watched on television channels in 2019 has included Ajith's Viswasam and Vijay's Sarkar in the top movies list based on impressions and unique viewers respectively. 

Viswasam becomes 2019's TOP (No:1) Movie in Terms Of Impressions. The official data reads the film has recorded 18.1 Million impressions and 34 million views. On the other hand, Sarkar is the top movie with unique viewers with 17 million impressions and 37 million views.

Sarkar directed by AR Murugadoss hit the screens in 2018 and had its television premiere on January 26, 2019 on Sun TV. Viswasam directed by Siva was premiered on Sun Television, on May 1, 2019.
