Only a few days ago, we had reported about Kamal Haasan's stand-point on Indian 2, a project wildly feared to have been shelved because of the production hurdles it faced. Latest buzz on this film is that these issues have been solved and that Lyca Productions has given the go-ahead for the film to resume shooting.

Word also has it that director Shankar and his lead Kamal Haasan will resume Indian 2 from June, 2019 and that they plan to release the film for Pongal, 2021.

It is worth mentioning here that Haasan will also be returning to host Season 3 of Bigg Boss Tamil starting June, 2019.
