Rs. 100 Cr+ worth ticket sales for 2.0 on Bookmyshow!

 

Despite the observed mixed reception for Shankar's sci-fi film 2.0, the box-office of the movie seems unstoppable breaking many records and creating many milestones. So it comes as no surprise when it is announced that a single ticketing platform contributed Rs. 100 Cr+ of the Rs. 500 Cr+ humongous business the movie did worldwide.

According to a latest update from film 2.0, Bookmyshow, the go-to ticketing platform for most Indians sold 5.2 million of the film's tickets in all languages, bringing the ticket sales turnover to Rs. 100. 10 Crores in the past 10 days.

Shankar's movie despite being dubbed in Hindi has done better business than its South Indian versions and the same was reflected even in Bookmyshow's ticket sales as well. 


As far as the worldwide box office is concerned, it remains to be seen if 2.0 will reach Rs 600 crore mark and beat the total of Baahubali: The Beginning.
