As with every film created in the Indian film fraternity, Rajinikanth starrer Kaala that hit theatre screens earlier this year on June 7, 2018, underwent the procedural cuts by the Central Board of Film Certification, before being certified by them. And marginally close to our earlier report, there were 17 cuts suggested by the CBFC which then got altered in the film and we never got to seem them on-screen. An itemized list of those cuts suggested is now being circulated on social media, giving us a glimpse of behind-the-scenes work of the movie.
The list shows us that despite the number of cuts being huge, only 51 seconds of scenes were removed from the movie and 10 seconds of them were replaced. And despite these cuts, Kaala ended up getting an U/A from the CBFC and came with a run time of 2 hours and 45 minutes.
