Vadivelu's Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi: Issues resolved and film shooting to begin soon

According to reports, Vadivelu has agreed to work in 'Imasai Arasan 24am Pulikesi' again and the film shooting which was stalled is expected to begin soon.

Actor Vadivelu's 'Imasai Arasan 24am Pulikesi', sequel to his earlier blockbuster Imasai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, began with an official pooja early last year and the shooting went on for a while too. Then due to 'creative differences' Vadivelu had a fall-out with director Chimbudevan and producers director Shankar and Lyca Productions. The film shooting was stalled later after allegations from the makers over Vadivelu’s intervention in almost every department of the film. A complaint against Vadivelu was filed with the Producers' Council.

Later Vadivelu had agreed to resume shooting of the film as the producer's council had decided that failure to do so would result in him paying upto Rs. 9 crore. However the shooting didn't take off as expected with Vadivelu refusing to act in the film. He sent out a letter to Nadigar Sangam in which he accused the makers for wasting his dates and clarified that he did not want to act in the film anymore.

After another intervention from the Producer Council, asking Vadivelu to compensate the losses or join the shoot again, finally Vadivelu has agreed to shoot his portions for Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikecei. With the issues having been resolved between Vadivelu and the filmmakers, the shooting of Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikecei is expected to begin soon. However an official confirmation is awaited from the makers.

Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi has Billa 2 fame Paravathy Omanakuttan as the female lead. The film's technical crew includes Ghibran for the music, R. Saravanan for cinematography and Vivek Harshan for the edits.
