Vadivelu starrer Imasai Arasan 24am Pulikesi back on track!

 

Actor Vadivelu's sequel to his earlier blockbuster Imasai Arasan 23am Pulikesi, began with an official pooja early last year and the shooting went on for a while too. Then due to 'creative differences' Vadivelu had a fall-out with director Chimbudevan and producers director Shankar and Lyca Productions and eventually shooting of the film was stalled. If one may recall, a complaint against Vadivelu was said to have been filed with the producers' council and producer Gnanavel Raja, who was then the secretary of the council was even seen making open remarks about this (read here).
 
Latest development on this issue is that Vadivelu has agreed to resume shooting of the film as the producer's council had decided that failure to do so would result in him paying upto Rs. 9 crore (Rs. 1.5 crore of Vadivelu's renumeration + the money spent on the film till now) to the makers of Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi (IA24P). With the number of actor-maker conflict in Kollywood increasing by the day, this piece of development comes as a refreshing news that seems to have ended amicably for everyone involved.
 
Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikesi has Billa 2 fame Paravathy Omanakuttan as the female lead. The film's technical crew includes Ghibran for the music, R. Saravanan for cinematography and Vivek Harshan for the edits.
