Preview of TIN, Maya and 49-O

This Vinayagar Chathurthi, there is going to be an interesting battle at the box office, with three films belonging to different genres releasing during the long festival weekend. Check out what to expect from these films.

1. Trisha Ilana Nayanthara

• GV Prakash is donning the lead role again in TIN after the success of Darling. It is an important film for GV Prakash's acting career, as a consecutive hit would do a world of good to his confidence level.
• Aptly bagging an 'A' certificate, the movie has a quirky theme which is targeted at youngsters. Anandhi and Manisha Yadav play the leading ladies in the film, which is directed by Adhik Ravichandran.
• Music is scored by GV Prakash and 'Bittu Padam Di' track has become the new youth anthem. Cinematography is handled by Richard M Nathan.

2. Maya

• It is Nayanthara's turn to act in a horror movie, which has been the most successful genre in the recent times. Being such a versatile actress, Nayanthara should be able to pull off a good show.
• The trailer of the film has created a huge buzz among movie buffs. Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, Maya will be a riveting horror flick if it lives up to the trailer.
• The movie has Aari in an important role, while Thenandal Films will ensure that the movie gets a wide opening.

3. 49-O

• The 'King of Comedy' Goundamani is back into the limelight with 49-O. Directed by Arokiyadoss, the movie is touted to be a political satire.  
• Although the movie will open across limited screens, expect Goundamani's ardent fans to throng the screens to witness his formidable dialogue delivery.
