Preview of 36 Vayadhinile and Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai

Jyothika's comeback film, 36 Vayadhinile, and SP Jananathan's multi-starrer, Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai, will be clashing at the box office on May 15th. Both the movies carry good pre-release buzz, thanks to aggressive promotions by the production houses.

36 Vayadhinile

• Jyothika, one of the finest actresses Tamil cinema has ever seen, is making her comeback after 8 long years with this film, directed by Rosshan Andrrews. Her ardent fans are hoping that she would carry on from where she left in Mozhi.
• The movie is the remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam film, How Old Are You. It'd be interesting to see if the movie manages to create the same magic as the original version did. 
• Santhosh Narayanan's songs have been topping the charts, and his background score will also play a key factor for the movie's success.

Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai

• Director SP Jananathan is back with another socially relevant film and this time around, he has dealt with capital punishment. Touted to be a jail drama, the movie is expected to be hard-hitting as well as entertaining.
• The movie boasts of a huge star cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Arya, Shaam and Karthika Nair. With such a stellar casting, the movie should be able to please the audience.
• The trailer of the film was unique and received appreciations from the audience. Expect some stunning visuals from breathtaking snow-covered locations.
