Muni Mints Money - Kanchana 2 BO Report 

April 17 witnessed two Tamil releases getting positive response from the audience and critics. While Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani is ruling the box office abroad, Kanchana 2 takes the control of Tamil Nadu Box Office by a big margin. The worldwide collection of Kanchana 2 in the opening weekend is estimated to around Rs 20 crore. 

Kanchana 2 takes a lead in TN & Malasiya

At the end of the first weekend, the movie had grossed Rs 17.5 crore in Tamil Nadu and has taken a lead over OK Kanmani, which had collected Rs 6.3 crore in Tamil Nadu. Similarly, in Malaysia, the movie had grossed 788,718 MYR and has taken a lead over OK Kanmani, which had collected 47,086 MYR.

Overall, Kanchana 2 takes a supreme lead over OK Kanmani in the collections. However, considering the budget, both the films have already been declared as hits by trade sources.
