Lingaa gets trimmed

Amid huge expectations, Superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa hit the screens on December 12 as a treat for Rajinikanth fans. The film had a good opening. Thanks to the name Rajinikanth.

The movie had received mixed reviews from the audience. Now, based on the feedback from the audience that the film is lengthy, the makers  have trimmed the movie by 9 minutes to make it crisper and racier . The team had trimmed  6 minutes in the first half and 3 minutes in the second half.

The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Shetty, Karunakaran and Santhanam in the lead roles. The movie is directed by KS Ravikumar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
