Kochadaiiyaan and Vikrama Simha First Day Report

Kochadaiiyaan(Tamil) premieres opened at 13th rank position in the USA grossing $102,402 on its first day. With positive reviews and word of mouth, Kochadaiiyaan in Tamil is expected to pickup during the long weekend as families expected to embrace this movie. In Bangalore, additional 10 screens have been added and 4 more multiplexes started screening for Kochadaiiyaan. Tamil audience continue to provide their unflinching loyalty towards Super Star. The margin from movie's collection got a nice boost as the entertainment tax was waived by the TN government.

Kochadaiyaan (Hindi)

Kochadaiyaan Hindi received a mixed reports from critics. The film business has started on a dull note as per Bollyhungama Taran Adharsh, who complimented the movie's screenplay as absorbing. On the negative side, Rajeev Masand called the animation as embarrassingly amateurish. Rediff's Raja Sen called the movie a flawed dud. The day 1 box office report has been lukewarm for Kochadaiiyaan in Hindi while Jackie Shroff's son was launched for a Hindi movie, Heropanti.

Vikrama Simha (Telugu)

In Telugu, Vikramasimha (Telugu) was consistently rated by critics between 2.5 and 3 stars. The fan reactions are a bit tempered about the movie while. A few critics called Vikrama Simha as a one man show. Unexpectedly, the buzz surrounding Vikrama Simha is significantly less compared to Rajini's previous movies. The Telugu fans have instead thronged to the Nagarjuna's home production, Manam, which has is off to a terrific start amassing spectacular reviews from fans and critics.
