Audience Response

Movie has not lived up to expectation. Like Perarasu movies, for every 10 minutes someone is praising STR and uttering Osthe in the movie which is very tiring. Over build fights made us laugh.
Old wine in a new bottle. However it can be watchable once.

Simbu overacting, but I think Simbu fans will like the movie.

It's a must watch comedy movie. if you had already watched dabangg, go with your friends and enjoying watching it as a comedy movie  like 'veerasamy'

Santhanam one liners as usual nice , Richa super, Others ok .. Entertains now and then

Have to appreciate Simbhu for songs - dance department . enna involvement ..big plus for movie ..

Osthe lacks the magic that made Dabaang work

Santhanam and Thaman are the biggest strengths for the movie.

If you haven't watched Dabangg, you can watch Osthi once.

Overall a decent entertainer from Dharani. Ramesh has made sure he has given good screen space for all the actors in the movie without any ego.

Great Songs, Nice punches & unadulterated fun work to some extent but not engaging enough

Simbu's dialect was poor. Richa was nowhere close to Sonakshi. Villian did not suit the role. Not worth watching even if you had't seen Dabangg.

Dharani has missed his shot at redemption after his previous failures like “Bangaram” & “Kuruvi” where his successful career hit a speed brake. It is time to introspect not only for Dharani but also for STR. On the whole , “Osthi” is nothing the name suggests.

Overall no where near Singam but better than siruthai .. Masala movie haters stay away .. Audience response is good .. No kalai and all  

Yet another spoof masala movie. frm starting to ending punches, mass bgm, stylish walks. Tamil padam shiva has lots of scope to mock this movie in his next. 

Mass entertainer of the year.. Sema response in theatre...pls don't go by reviews from simbhu haters or ppl why feel shy to like a MASS movie.
