With SK26, his ambitious sci-fi film with Sivakarthikeyan, facing delays due to its scale, director Venkat Prabhu is reportedly looking at a quicker project in the interim. According to reports, Jai and Shiva have been roped in for the film, expected to be a comedy entertainer in the vein of their earlier collaborations Chennai 600028, Saroja and Goa. An official confirmation from the cast is yet to arrive.

SK26, which saw Venkat Prabhu and Sivakarthikeyan travel to Los Angeles for pre-production and digital scanning, remains on track despite rumours of it being shelved. Ramya Nambessan has confirmed her involvement in the project, which is reported to feature music by AR Rahman.

Sivakarthikeyan, meanwhile, is currently filming Seyon with director Sivakumar Murugesan, starring Bhagyashri Borse, Bala Saravanan and Aruldoss.
