Atharvaa's upcoming film Idhayam Murali, set for a July 10 release, has added a notable name to its music roster. The makers announced on Monday that Dhanush has lent his voice for the fourth single from the film, titled Vaama Vaama, with the song set to drop on Tuesday.

This marks Dhanush's first vocal contribution to an Atharvaa film. He has however previously worked with the film's music composer Thaman S on the titular track of the Telugu film Thikka, starring Sai Dharam Tej.

Idhayam Murali is directed and produced by Aakash Baskaran under the Dawn Pictures banner. The film stars Kayadu Lohar, Preity Mukhundhan, and Fahadh Faasil in prominent roles, with a supporting cast that includes VJ Rakshan, Natty, Anju Kurian and others.

Three songs have been released from the film so far — Idhayaa, Thangame Thangame, and Vaan Vaan — with lyrics for all tracks penned by Vivek. On the technical front, Manoj Paramahamsa handles cinematography, Pradeep E Ragav edits the film, and the costume design is by Pallavi Singh and Karthik Rajkumar.

This is Atharvaa's second collaboration with Aakash Baskaran, who previously bankrolled Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara.
