Actor Sananth opened up about his upcoming film Heartin at a press meet on Tuesday, sharing insights into his experience working with director Kishore and co-stars Madonna Sebastian and Emaya. He began the event with a personal request to the media, asking them not to attach a caste title to his name in their coverage.
Speaking about the film, Sananth described Heartin as a breezy, feel-good story that goes beyond a conventional romance. He recalled initially assuming it would be a straightforward love story when Kishore narrated the script, but realised during filming that the narrative carried far deeper emotional layers than he had expected.
He also spoke fondly, if jokingly, about working with Kishore, describing the director as soft-spoken in person but exacting on set, with shoots often running from 5 am to 11 pm. On his co-stars, Sananth said his experience with Madonna Sebastian and Emaya went beyond the technical aspects of acting, adding that he hoped audiences would sense that sincerity on screen.
Calling Heartin an emotionally honest film, Sananth urged audiences to support it in theatres when it releases on June 26, noting that it marks his first outing as a full-fledged lead actor.
