The first single from Vishwanath and Sons is out. Titled Pattampoochi, the track is a melodious love anthem for the couple played by Suriya and Mamitha Baiju in the Tamil-Telugu film. Sung by Sublakshmi with lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj, the song is composed by GV Prakash, with chorus contributions from Aavani Malhar, Jerina Anna, Kaanjana Sreeram and Aruna Mary George. The Telugu version of the song, titled Neno Butterfly, features lyrics by Ramajogaiah Sastry.

The song carries shades of Suriya's beloved character Sanjay Ramasamy from Ghajini, as his Vishwanath and Sons role, Sanjay Vishwanath, is inspired by that same businessperson archetype.

Directed by Venky Atluri, the film tells the story of an unexpected romance between a middle-aged man and a woman half his age, described by the makers as "a heartfelt journey of dreams, emotions, and unexpected love." The film features an expansive cast including Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, Nasser, Bhavani Sri, Kaali Venkat, Hyper Aadhi and others. It is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with cinematography by Nimish Ravi and editing by Navin Nooli. Vishwanath and Sons releases in theatres on August 14.
