In just 2 weeks of theatrical run, AR Murugadoss directed Madharaasi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead has crossed Rs. 100 Cr. in gross collections worldwide. Sri Lakshmi Movies, the makers behind Madharaasi made the box-office announcement with a new poster release. 

In Tamil Nadu, Madharaasi crossed the Rs. 57 Cr. mark in 13 days. Madharaasi with music by Anirudh Ravichander, also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Biju Menon, Vikranth, Vidyut Jammwal, Shabeer Kallarakkal among others.
