As reported twice previously, it has now been officially announced that the Kanguva movie release date is November 14, 2024. Starring actor Suriya in the lead, Kanguva is a revenge action film, that travels 500 years from before the 1700's to the present timeline.

Kanguva is written and directed by Siva and has Bollywood actor Bobby Deol playing villain in it. Studio Green and UV Creations have produced Kanguva: A Mighty Valiant Saga on a massive budget. 

Kanguva's story revolves around a hero (Suriya) who has to fulfill a mission left unfinished. Kanguva trailer showcased Suriya and Bobby Deol belonging to rival tribe clans residing on an island, and Suriya aka Kanguva's clan falling prey to the torture of the Spartans.

Kanguva has Devi Sri Prasad for music and has Disha Patani playing female lead. The post theatrical OTT rights of the Kanguva film are with Amazon Prime Video streaming platform.
