Celebrating director Aadhik Ravichandran's 34th birthday on Tuesday, the makers of his upcoming movie Good Bad Ugly took to X to confirm that there is no change in the Pongal 2025 release of the Ajith Kumar starrer. Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers is backing Good Bad Ugly, which is expected to feature actor Ajith in a flamboyant gangster role. 

The movie was announced as a Pongal release, scheduled to hit theater screens in January, 2025. However a delay in Ajith's other movie Vidaamuyarchi, backed by Lyca Productions had lead to widespread buzz that Good Bad Ugly is also getting pushed.

Vidaamuyarchi was said to release in January, 2025 while Good Bad Ugly was said to be getting moved to May 1, 2025 i.e. Ajith's birthday. However, Mythri Movie Makers have now explitictly stated that there is no change in Good Bad Ugly's Pongal 2025 release.
