Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth in the lead is slated to release in theaters on October 31, 2024 marking the Dussehra holiday weekend. Lyca Productions, the banner behind the movie on Monday announced the Vettaiyan audio launch date as September 20, 2024 (Friday). 

Titled 'Vettaiyan audio and prevue event', it will take place at Nehru Stadium, Chennai from 6 PM onwards. Two brand new posters featuring Rajinikanth alongside Vettaiyan's ensemble, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Abhirami, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan were unveiled with this announcement. 

Lyca Productions has also said that staring Monday i.e. September 16, 2024, Vettaiyan character posters will also be released one by one.

Written and directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan has Anirudh Ravichander for music. Sony Music label holds the audio rights to Vettaiyan film's soundtrack, including the film's viral first single Manasilaayo.
