Good Bad Ugly starring actor Ajith Kumar in the lead is an upcoming production venture of Tollywood banner Mythri Movie Makers. Previously we had reported that Good Bad Ugly will begin shooting as early as May, 2024, and now it has been officially confirmed that the movie is indeed being filmed at Hyderabad with Ajith. Good Bad Ugly's first schedule will go in till June 7, 2024 in the Telengana capital city. 

Scheduled for a Pongal/ Sankranthi release in January 2025, Good Bad Ugly is written and directed by Aadhik Ravichandran, and is touted to be an action thriller. Ajith is said to be playing three different roles in Good Bad Ugly, which has Devi Sri Prasad for music, Abhinandan Ramanujam for cinematography, Vijay Velkutty for edits, and Supreme Sundar for action.

Good Bad Ugly's title is reminiscent of a famous Clint Eastwood Hollywood actioner titled The Good The Bad The Ugly (1966). The Tamil film's title poster came with bloodied brass knuckles, barbed wires, pistols in the background, and 5 stars similar to the star insignia of Field Marshal - the highest attainable rank in the Indian army.
