Actors Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar teased the release of Vannarapettayila, the second single from their upcoming movie Maaveeran by releasing a skit, that suggested how they were "duped" into singing the number by their director Madonne Ashwin and music composer Bharath Shankar.

This Vannarapettayila song is out now and is a peppy number that is streaming on Saregama Tamil's YouTube channel. The video comes with glimpses of Sivakarthikeyan and Aditi Shankar from the movie as well as BTS of their shooting and recording sessions. 

Produced by Shanthi Talkies, Maaveeran is scheduled to release in theaters on July 14, 2023 i.e. exactly a month from now. The movie has Vidhu Ayyanna for cinematography, Shobi Paulraj for choreography, Kumar Gangappan, Arun Venjaramoodu for art,  Yannick Ben for stunts and Philomin Raj for edits.
