Veeran starring Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi in the lead is an upcoming superhero movie in Tamil, which is all set to release in theaters from June 2, 2023 [Friday]. The movie written and directed by ARK Saravanan of Maragadha Naanayam (2017) fame is a production venture of Satya Jyothi Films and is the banner's second collaboration with the filmmaker, and third with Hiphop Tamizha. On Saturday, Aadhi took to his twitter page to share stills of Veeran's posters adoring the Chennai metro. The actor has also been seen promoting his film's release in various Tamil TV and YouTube shows.

Veeran, a fantasy genre movie is about a the titular character getting struck by lightning and developing superhero powers of lightning, mind control and such. How this incident intertwines with the lives of a village named Veeranoor is what forms the rest of the story.

Also starring Athira Raj, Vinay Rai, Munishkanth, Kali Venkat, Sassi Selvaraj among others, Veeran has Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi for music, Deepak D Menon for cinematography, NK Rahul for art,  Mahesh Mathew for action stunts, and G.K Prasanna for edits.
