D 50 (tentative title) is an upcoming Dhanush starrer, that will also be directed by the actor himself. Touted to be a gangster drama, the movie was officially announced earlier this year by Sun Pictures with no details revealed. Latest we hear composer AR Rahman has been roped in for D 50's music, and that the movie will begin shooting once Dhanush wraps Captain Miller. An official announcement on the film's cast and crew is currently awaited. 

Reported to be titled Raayan, D 50 is set against the backdrop of North Chennai (as hinted in the film's official poster). The movie has been buzzed to star Dhanush, SJ Suryah and Sundeep Kishan as brothers, and Dushara Vijayan, Vishnu Vishal, Kalidas Jayaram in pivotal roles.
