Rudhran starring Raghava Lawrence in the lead is an upcoming action entertainer scheduled to release in theaters on Tamil New Year Friday i.e. April 14, 2023. The film is directed by Kathiresan and produced under his home banner Five Star Creations. With only 2 days left for Rudhran's release, news had it that a Madras High Court stay order has been issued towards the film's release, due to a financial dispute.

Revenza Global Ventures Private Limited had reportedly signed an agreement in 2021 to acquire the Hindi dubbing, streaming and satellite rights of Rudhran. However the deal did not get finalized during terms negotiation, and Revenza moved court seeking a stay on the film's release. But team Rudhran maintains that there will be no postponement and the movie will release as planned. 

Also starring Priya Bhavani Shankar, Sarath Kumar among others, Rudhran is certified U/A by the CBFC. The film has GV Prakash for music, RD Rajasekar for cinematography and Anthony for edits.
