Mani Ratnam directed historical fiction Ponniyin Selvan is gearing up for a part 2 release titled PS-2 on April 28, 2023. The movie which stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Trisha is all set for a trailer release on March 29, 2023 [Wednesday], and now the makers have announced that the audio release will also happen on the same date.

Ponniyin Selvan 2 has AR Rahman for music, and the film's first single titled Aga Naga is already out in Tamil, Telugu (Aaganandhe), Hindi (Ruaa Ruaa), Kannada (Kirunage) and Malayalam (Akamalar) languages.
