Veeran is an upcoming Tamil language super-hero film starring Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi in the lead. Maragadha Naanayam director ARK Saravanan has helmed this movie which also feartures debutante Athira Raj as the female lead. Latest we hear, Sathya Jyothi Films has planned a Tamil New Year release for the movie, which means that Veeran will most likely release on April 14, 2023 in theaters.

An official announcement on the same is however awaited. Also starring Munishkanth, Kaali Venkat and Sassi Selvaraj among others, Veeran has Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi for music, Deepak D Menon for cinematography and Prasanna GK for edits. 

Veeran's first look poster drew comparisons with Malayalam super-hero movie Minnal Murali that released directly on Netflix OTT platform in 2021; Veeran's director has refuted any links to that film.
