Actor Ajith's Thunivu made its OTT premiere on Netflix on February 8, 2023 and now the streaming platform has unveiled the records the movie has made, in the last one week. In the weekly statistics calculated from February 6, 2023 to February 12, 2023, Thunivu has ranked:

• No: 1 in all India top 10 movies with its Hindi version
• No: 2 in all India top 10 movies with its Tamil/original version
• No: 3 in global non-English top 10 movies with its Tamil version
• No: 4 in global non-English top 10 movies with its Telugu version

#Thunivu is also on TOP 10 on Netflix across 13 countries globally - India, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Nigeria, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Singapore, Sri Lanka and United Arab Emirates.

Thunivu Tamil has also been watched 4, 050, 000 hours in that week's time, propelling it to the no: 3 position on the most-watched non-English films on Netflix. Thunivu is also the only Indian movie on this list, besides the Hindi language Vadh (2022). 

Thunivu is a heist action revenge drama written and directed by H. Vinoth. The movie produced by Boney Kapoor, Zee Studios has Ghibran for music, and also stars Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Ajay Kumar, Bhagavathi Perumal, Mohana Sundaram, Bala Saravanan among others.
