Jailer is an upcoming action entertainer starring actor Rajinikanth in the lead, and Sun Pictures, producers of the film have now announced that Telugu actor Sunil is part of the movie's cast. The announcement was made with a new poster release and follows the confirmations of actors Malayalam star Mohanlal and Kannada star Shivarajkumar in the movie. 

Touted to be a movie about prison and its inmates, Jailer is written and directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar of Beast, Doctor, Kolamaavu Kokila fame. The movie also stars Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu among others. 

Rajini plays a character named Muthuvel Pandian in the movie and its technical crew includes Anirudh for music, Vijay Karthik Kannan for cinematography and R. Nirmal for edits. Jailer BTS/ Making Video
